Achieving ISO 27001 accreditation in June 2020 was a major milestone for Wireless Logic and demonstrated our commitment to Information Security and to continuous improvement.
Part of that investment in improvement is to look at what other opportunities exist to measure our current controls, address any gaps as required and ensure that we remain best in class.
The Government and National Cyber Security Centre backed Cyber Essentials scheme is one such opportunity, and we are pleased to announce that via IASME Consortium, Wireless Logic has become Cyber Essentials certified. Wireless Logic pay very close attention to global and industry-specific cyber activity and threats, and align as much as possible to the NCSC advice and guidance to get ahead of the game, ensure we stay safe and continue to provide highly available, secure and compliant products and services. Cyber Essentials provides organisations of all sizes the opportunity to assess its cyber controls, improve them where necessary, reduce risk as well as improve their qualification to offer services into industry sectors which require evidence of cyber security standards and controls in its supply chain.
What’s next?
Our next steps are to continue our ongoing improvements around quality, cyber and information security and to move toward securing ISO 22301 (Business Continuity) accreditation to formally recognise our capability in this space.
Our dedicated Infosec team will regularly check, measure, and audit our processes as we continue to demonstrate commitment to working to these high standards of security controls. This best practice will help us, as an organisation, to ensure our customer information and data is secure.
